DAVID LIU (30s), Chinese-American, is a local hood representing an international cartel that specializes in the theft and resale of confidential data. David and his thugs terrorize local businesses to further the ambition of the organization. They recruit a bright, young electrical engineer, MICHAEL CHEN (25) to steal a powerful high-tech chip that was designed by the firm that employs him. The chip, developed in conjunction with the U.S. Government and codenamed WEASEL, would allow the cartel to breach any network located anywhere in the world and acquire secret data without restriction.
